It’s me, the little girl! My mom made me this wonderful white mitten. It was a perfect fit, was soft and comfortable, and she did the kitchener stitch on top just perfectly!

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, Why is the Little Girl praising the Mother That Annoys her A Lot?

It’s because the second mitten she made was bigger! See, the pattern said that you could knit till the mitten reached the tip of the pinky, or six inches. So on the first mitten, she knitted till the length of my pinky. but for the second mitten, my mother did it for six inches!!!!

HI there. I am hardly an intermediate knitter – just like the adventure of trying and seeing what happens. We started knitting last year and made a baby hat and we’ve been going crazy ever since. I know I drive my daughter crazy – looking over her shoulder and making her count her stitches – but aren’t moms supposed to drive their daughters crazy?!!
